Cam Cowden is head of CMC for Elion where he brings more than 25 years of experience in drug development. Cam started his career as a process chemist at Merck and progressed through various roles including running a state-of-the-art pilot facility and heading the Merck process chemistry “Projects” group. In 2016 he joined Concert Pharmaceuticals where he contributed to the early development of deutivacaftor and the successful NDA approval of deuruxolitinib (Leqselvi™).
