Michael Murphy joined Elion Therapeutics in 2025 as Controller. Michael oversees financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, procurement and treasury, as well as managing information technology, informatics and operations functions.
Prior to Elion, Michael was Controller at HiFiBio Therapeutics, a global clinical stage biotechnology company responsible for overseeing global finance operations. Previously, Michael worked at Flagship Pioneering as an Assistant Controller supporting numerous early-stage portfolio companies. At Sigilon Therapeutics, Michael served as the SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager. At Deloitte and DJ Gustafson he was an audit and tax accountant.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Bridgewater State University.
